Terms and Policies for Hotel Clients
Effective Date: June 3, 2025
Tiera Luxe Design — www.tieraluxedesign.com
When partnering with hotels on interior design projects, the following terms and policies apply:
1. Project Scope & Proposal
A detailed proposal outlining design services, deliverables, timelines, and costs will be provided and must be agreed upon before work begins.
Any changes or additions to the scope must be approved in writing and may result in additional fees.
2. Booking & Deposits
Projects require a signed agreement and an initial deposit (typically 30-50% of the total fee) before design work starts.
Deposits are non-refundable but may be credited toward the final invoice.
3. Payments
Remaining balances are due upon project milestones or completion, as specified in the contract.
Late payments may incur interest or penalties.
4. Client Responsibilities
The hotel client agrees to provide timely access to the property, relevant information, and approvals to ensure smooth project progress.
Delays caused by client inaction may affect timelines and costs.
5. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding proprietary designs, pricing, and any sensitive information.
Permission must be obtained before publicly sharing project details or images.
6. Intellectual Property
All design concepts, drawings, and creative materials remain the intellectual property of Tiera Luxe Design until full payment is received.
Upon final payment, the hotel is granted a license to use the designs solely for the intended property.
7. Warranties & Liability
We strive for quality and client satisfaction but are not liable for indirect damages, delays caused by third parties, or unforeseen site conditions.
Any warranty claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days of project completion.
8. Cancellation & Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice.
Fees for work completed up to termination date remain payable.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This agreement is governed by the laws of North Carolina.
Any disputes will be resolved through mediation or binding arbitration before pursuing litigation.
